Jianshu (简书) : China's writing and reading community for publishing long-form posts and building an audience.

Launched in Shanghai in 2013, Jianshu is a long-form writing site often described as a Chinese answer to Medium.

Writers compose posts in a Markdown editor, while readers follow favorite authors, join themed collections and gift coins to reward posts.

Users span casual diarists to professional young writers. Because the interface is Chinese-language, full participation requires reading Chinese.
